What's Up Columbus - August - Magic Face-Off

This is a clip from a new "What's Up" segment that debuted last month called "Magic Face-Off."

And remember, tomorrow, September 1st, we'll be back at Kafe Kerouac at 10PM with a new What's Up Columbus with Justin Golak.

Guests include baker Nina Hernandez and hip-hop group All Eyes Path.

And maybe a return of Magic Face-Off...

Velveeta Shells & Cheese: A Love Story

This sketch premiered at "Big Screen Comedy" at Studio 35 in Columbus on August 13, 2011. For those of you who may be familiar with my stand-up comedy, it used to be a joke that I did, but I thought that format of the joke could work better as a video sketch, and here are the results. It's a tale of love, loss, and Velveeta Shells & Cheese in the time of present day. Enjoy!

Comedy Revolver at Wild Goose Creative

Friday, August 19th at Wild Goose Creative at 8:00PM, Sumukh and Golak will be part of the newest installment of Comedy Revolver! What's Comedy Revolver? It's a rotating-panel-stand-up-comedy show. Still have questions. Check out the videos below from the last Comedy Revolver Sumukh and Golak were a part of and then check out info for this show below that.

Jeff Burgstrom hosts another installment of "Comedy Revolver," a 'rotating panel' stand-up comedy show featuring four comedians and four microphones. Each performer takes their turn on stage to tell a joke as the three other comedians on the panel toss in their thoughts to bring together a hilarious mix of stand-up and improv comedy.

Joining Jeff on this show will be Columbus comedians Justin Golak, Laura Sanders, and Sumukh Torgalkar, who are fresh off the recent premiere of their comedy stage show, "¡¿DIVERSITY?!"

The show is $7 and BYOB! So, bring your sense of humor and some drinks for a night of rapid fire hilarities!

Sanjay A.'s Yelp Reviews

As Golak and I are lovers of food and drink, it seems only necessary that we have a food and drink critic for our website. After enjoying writing a review of Wall Street Nightclub in Columbus, I've decided to stretch out and write more funny (hopefully) but informative (hopefully) reviews on Yelp under the pseudonym, Sanjay A.

Here's my most recent review from a place I visited while in the D.C. area called Zikrayet Lebanese Restaurant. Enjoy!
